Jinglin Zhou
Chenter Foundation Cathy and Tony Chen Scholarship for Classical Music (2024-2025)
Jinglin Zhou, born in 2002 in Hunan, China, is currently a graduate student at The Juilliard School under the mentorship of Samuel Rhodes. He began studying the violin at age 10 with his mother and later specifically focused on voice and piano from age 13. In 2020, he entered in Shanghai Conservatory of Music where he studied viola with Nian Liu, Jensen Lam and Yucheng Shi. Jinglin has received full scholarship at Seiji Ozawa Academy and Heifetz Institute. He has also won the first place at Hong Kong International String Competition, Primo Premio at 31st Citta di Barletta Competition.

Jackie Hager
Chenter Foundation Chen Hong-Muo and Chen Fu Scholarship for Classical Music (2023-2025)
Jackie Hager, a Rochester-born cellist, attends The Juilliard School under the tutelage of Professor Natasha Brofsky. As a soloist, she made her orchestral debut at age 12 with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, and has since returned as a featured soloist as well as with several other orchestras. In addition to performing as a soloist, Jackie collaborates and competes in prize-winning chamber groups. Jackie also serves as summer faculty at the Hochstein School of Music. Previously, she was a student of Richard Aaron at the University of Michigan.

Alexandra Woroniecka
Chenter Foundation Cathy and Tony Chen Scholarship for Classical Music (2022-2024)
Alexandra Woroniecka studied under Professor Hyo Kang during her fourth year at The Juilliard School. She won the Concertmaster and Principal Second position at the 2023 Schleswig Holstein Music Festival in Germany. She has appeared as a soloist in the Massapequa Philharmonic Orchestra in May 2022 and the Omega ensemble Society Winter Gala in February 2022. During the summers, she has attended the Zenon Brzewski International Music Courses in Poland, Heifetz International Music Festival, Harpa International Music Academy in Iceland, Summer Violin Institute in Northwestern, IL, and the Meadowmount School of Music.

Ayoun Kim
Chenter Foundation Chen Hong-Muo and Chen Fu Scholarship for Classical Music (2022-2023)
Cellist Ayoun Alexandra Kim, student at the Juilliard School, is an active chamber musician, soloist, and advocate for community engagement through music. In 2022, she became the winner of the Yamaho Young Performing Artist Competition, where she was the only string instrument winner, the Artist Presentation Society Competition, and the Farwell Trust Prize from the Musicians Club of Women Competition. Kim has attended festivals such as Sarasota Music Festival, Kneisel Hall, Orford Academy, AlpenKammerMusik, Verão Classico, and the Sommerakademie Mozarteum where she had the privilege to perform for cellists such as Laurence Lesser, Steven Doane, Myung-Wha Chung, Frans Helmerson, Rebecca Gilliver, Gary Hoffman, and Maria Kliegel. Since 2021 she has been on the artist roster at the Seven Hills Chamber Music Festival, bringing a wide range of chamber music in VA through free concerts and educational events in local schools. Most recently, she was invited to the Vivace Music Foundation for the 2022 Festival as a participant and a Junior Faculty member. Kim received her Bachelor’s degree from the Juilliard School in 2020 and is continuing her studies at Juilliard for her Master’s degree under the tutelage of Natasha Brofsky and Astrid Schween as a recipient of the Jerome L. Greene fellowship and C.V. Starr scholarship. Previously she studied with Hans Jørgan Jensen in the Chicago area. Passionate about sharing music outside of the concert halls, she has been a Morse Teaching Artist Fellow at Juilliard for three years to contribute to making classical music more accessible
